We manufacture our own sheet metal flashings right here in Whitianga and orders can usually be processed the same day we receive them or within 24 hours, allowing us to speed up the installation time, reduce the cost of freight and the chance of freight damage.
Corrugated Iron is not the only profile available!
The roof is an integral part of every building. Product selection is an important consideration; the colour of the roof may be used to contrast (or complement) the rest of the building. When selecting any roof it is important to pick the right roof profile for the right pitch. Often long-run COLORSTEEL® is chosen for its aesthetics rather that its functionality. All our roofs come with a suppliers warranty however they do vary depending if it is for a residential or commercial premises and also on its location i.e. Proximity to the beach etc.
We use two different suppliers for our COLORSTEEL® - (COLORSTEEL® ENDURA® & COLORSTEEL® MAXX®) and Pacific Coil Coaters (PCC) whom purchase their steel off NZ Steel then apply their own paint finish. Regardless of what roofing product is used we offer a 5 year warranty on all workmanship so you can rest easy that your roof is in good hands.
When building a roof more than 100m from the beach front you have 20 standard colour choices from the COLORSTEEL® ENDURA® range to choose from. For buildings between 50m -100m from the beach the COLORSTEEL® MAXX® range is designed to withhold the harsh NZ weather conditions and you still have the same standard 20 colour choices to choose from. If you are building within 50m of the high tide line, you will need to use an Aluminium product (ARX from PCC) to obtain a warranty for your roof.
ARX comes in a wide variety of colours and is a special ‘made to order’ product. The range of colours allows you to pick a colour that will either blend with the local surroundings or enhance your building. In addition to our variety of colour options we also offer clear sheets to control sunlight. These sheets are available in different weights and tints. When using clear sheets it is important to select a sheet that matches the profile of the rest of the roof.
