Peninsula Roofing was founded in 1996 when owners Richard and Diane Vetter moved to Whitianga.

“We were offered the opportunity to set up a business as the distributor for AHI Roofing Metal tiles on the Coromandel Peninsula. After travelling around we looked at Whitianga and thought this would be a central location in which to position ourselves to cater for the projected growth. Since then, Peninsula Roofing has had to adapt to meet this growth and we now offer a wide range of brands, products and services. Peninsula Scaffolding was set up as a ‘sister’ company in 1998 operating from the same depot to meet the safety needs now required in the building industry”.

I was lured across the Tasman
