Asphalt Shingles

Asphalt shingles are suitable for both residential and commercial premises. Peninsula Roofing uses Skellerup Industries (NZ agent for Certainteed) as the sole supplier for their shingles as they stand by their products and offer great back up support to their customers.
The Skellerup range has a selection of colours and patterns which are all designed with a resistance to UV, mildew and salt. All our laminated shingles are built on a fibre glass base to provide a Class A fire resistance rating. Most colours are available immediately, however on occasion, shingles will need to be ordered from America, so once you have chosen your colour it is important to advise us so we can confirm the shingles are available.
When installing shingles it is important not to be undersold to a light weight shingle. The required weight of the shingles will be dependant on your location, proximity to the beach and prevailing weather conditions. A minimum pitch is required for Asphalt shingles and we offer a 5 year warranty on all our workmanship. Skellerup offer a 50 year limit warranty on their products but this may vary depending on your location.
